ModelicaDEVS offers a re-implementation of PowerDEVS for Modelica.
Although the DEVS formalism had been designed primarily for modeling discrete-event systems, PowerDEVS has been designed primarily for the efficient simulation of continuous-time (physical) system models.
To this end, it makes use of a new class of numerical integration algorithms, called Quantized State System (QSS) simulators. These algorithms have been implemented using the DEVS formalism.
